Events & comedy
A room gives you feedback.
Organising events, performing stand-up and co-producing shows put attention in a concrete setting: people deciding whether to show up and whether to stay interested.
Hello. I’m Puro.
I’m Puro. I’ve organised events, performed stand-up, worked on ad films and built creative businesses. Now I’m focused on researching, teaching and applying AI. It wasn’t a straight line, but there is a thread.
The story so far ↓
I started organising events at fifteen. Then came stand-up and co-producing comedy shows. At Adagio, my work grew into marketing and developing the venue business. Ad-film production gave me a look at the whole chain, from an idea and a pitch to the finished delivery.
Creative-services work brought a different set of questions. What should we offer? Who is it actually for? How do we make the work repeatable? Working with surgeons made one of those questions especially interesting: how do you make specialist expertise understandable without losing what matters?
Some of this happened inside other people’s businesses, some alongside collaborators, and some through ventures of my own. I’ve learned from all of it. I’d be suspicious of a very tidy version of this story.

Adagio
Marketing a music-learning space and developing its venue activity meant thinking about memberships, events and the different reasons someone might care.
The comedy notebook
From thirteen, I studied comedy videos and noted where the laughs came. Later, performing and co-producing shows gave those observations a real audience. Understanding something meant trying it, watching the response and changing how I saw it.
Ad-film production
Production exposed me to ideation, pitching, pre-production, shoots, post-production and client servicing. The finished piece depends on decisions across that chain.
Creative services
Broad agency work taught me how difficult it is to be referred when a description contains every possible service. A more specific audience gives the work a clearer context.
Specialist content
Working with surgeons brought the challenge into focus: understand the subject, respect its complexity and help an audience follow the explanation.
Where I am now
