Give content a specific job
Why should you create content for your business? My answer begins with what you need the right person to understand. They may need to recognise a problem, see how you approach it, understand a tradeoff or decide whether a conversation with you makes sense.
Those are useful jobs for content. They are also more precise than expecting every post to produce a sale. A piece can contribute to a decision without completing the whole journey on its own.
Keep the business questions in view
My Lazzzy Hustler writing repeatedly returns to the relationship between an audience, a problem and an offer. That thinking belongs in a content plan. Who needs the work? What situation makes it relevant? What can the business actually deliver? How will someone take the next step?
If those answers are unclear, the uncertainty enters the brief. A strong hook may attract attention while leaving the viewer confused about the service. More production can repeat that confusion at a higher frequency. Work on the underlying question as well as the way you explain it.
Follow the path beyond the post
Consider a hypothetical consultant whose videos explain a problem clearly. An interested viewer opens the profile, finds an ambiguous description, clicks an outdated page and cannot work out how to get help. The video may have done its part; the route around it needs attention.
Now consider a clear route that reaches an enquiry, but the business takes too long to respond or cannot deliver what the conversation requires. That is another part of the system. Treating all of these outcomes as a verdict on the post hides the point where improvement is needed.
Look at different signals separately
Views can tell you something about exposure. Relevant questions can tell you something about understanding. Enquiries can tell you that someone wants to explore help. A completed engagement adds another kind of evidence. None should quietly stand in for all the others.
Keep the context with the signal. Who responded? What were they asking? Which piece did they mention, if any? What happened next? You may not be able to attribute a conversation to one post, and you do not need to invent that precision. Useful review starts with recording what you can actually observe.
Make the next decision clearer
Choose the part of the journey that currently needs work. If people cannot recognise the problem, make a concrete demonstration. If they understand it but cannot compare approaches, explain a tradeoff. If they want help but cannot find the route, fix the destination.
This is why I connect content strategy with production and the business around it. The work should help the right people understand your expertise and give them a sensible next step. That is a practical reason to create content, with room to learn from what happens after it is published.
